Chiefly
Speaking
Brothers,
This year tipped off with the AIA Weekend in January.
Due to the weather, attendance was low, however, the
weekend turned out to be a success. Planning for some
of this year’s big events is well underway and I am very
excited for what is to come. With the Spring Fellowship
and Conclave just around the corner it is time for us to
prepare, physically and mentally, for some awesome
training, great work, and lots of fun! Remember to
check Onondaga online at
www.onondaga36.org for current information on
upcoming events.
The next thing I would like to talk about is your
membership in the lodge and the OA. As a sash-wearing,
card-holding Order of the Arrow member, it is your
responsibility to keep your dues current and to remain
faithful in your attendance upon the sessions of the
lodge. The OA has something to offer to every arrowmen,
young or old, just as every arrowmen has something to
offer to the OA. Thus, I encourage everyone to take an
active role in our lodge and participate in as much as
possible. There is always room for new members on the
dance team, drum team, ceremonies team, and the chapter
and lodge committee positions as well. Find out what
you like in the OA and do it. Our members are what make
Onondaga lodge so great and I encourage you keep up the
good work.
In Cheerful Service,
Shane Gamble
