Parent Info for Winter Banquet

Teenagers are notorious for not sharing information.  So you may be asking your son questions about the Annual Lodge Banquet and he may be blowing you off every time.  However, Onondaga On-line can answer all of your questions.  If you happen to have any questions about the Banquet or any other issue pertaining to Onondaga Lodge, you may email info@onondaga36.org

Now, the Lodge Winter Banquet will be held on Sunday, December 19th at Vance Presbyterian Church in Wheeling, WV.  A map to Vance is below.  If you still need further directions, click here.  The doors for the event will open at 6:00pm, and dinner will be served at 6:30pm.

No matter what your son may say, parents and families ARE invited and encouraged to attend the Winter Banquet.  The cost per person is $12.00.  That cost applies to scouts, arrowmen, parents, cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, a family friend, etc.  The $12.00 covers the cost of the catered meal and an OA patch for the banquet.  I'm sure you are thinking that you don't want or need a patch, but I'm sure your son will be glad to take it off your hands.

Pre-registration for the banquet is appreciated.  If possible, please call the scout office at (304) 277-2660 at let them know how many members of the family will be attending.  We ask that you call before December 15th so the lodge and host chapter have time to make final arrangements with the caterers.  However, you may register at the door.  All payments may also be made at the door.  Checks can be made out to "Onondaga Lodge #36, BSA".

If you have any other questions about arrangements or about the banquet, please feel free to send them to info@onondaga36.org.  Check out the related links at the bottom of the page for other articles and directions.
