Lodge
Fellowships
What
are fellowships? Well,
simply put, fellowships are a time when fellow arrowmen
get together for a specific purpose, such as a work
project, a trip, or just a plain social event.
The Lodge encourages all members to attend the
fellowships that we sponsor.
Onondaga Lodge holds several fellowship opportunities
for our members throughout the year.
Our Major fellowships include a Spring and Fall
Fellowship, as well as our annual Winter Banquet.
These events are coordinated by one of our three
chapters and alternate each year.
Our Spring and Fall Fellowships are held at Sandscrest
Scout Reservation each yeah.
The program for our fellowships cover a wide
range of events. A
typical fellowship will include great training sessions,
work projects, fun events( such as trips, euchre
tournaments, ice cream socials and much more), great
food, as well as a lodge meeting.
Our Annual Winter Banquet is held at various
establishments throughout the Valley.
The Winter Banquet is a time to review the year
with our membership and their families.
We start off the night with an awesome meal
followed by a guest speaker.
Later in the night we recognize those arrowmen in
our membership who have displayed exemplary service to
our lodge with various awards.
Those awards include the Gold Mandela, Vigil
Honor Candidates, Founder’s Award recipients and many
more.
